The Graduate Management Admission Test, also known as the GMAT is a standardized exam designed by the Graduate Management Admission Council to measure the aptitude and skills for those wishing to enroll in business school at a university to obtain their MBA. It has been developed to assess the skills a student has acquired through high school and college courses. The first part of the exam is the Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA). This consists of two different writing tasks. When preparing for the GMAT test practice your quantitative skills because the second section checks your knowledge of arithmetic, elementary algebra, and common geometry with questions on data sufficiency and problem solving. There are thirty seven multiple choice questions in this section, and you have 75 minutes to complete this part.
The last part is the verbal section. This has forty one multiple choice questions, and this assesses your reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and your ability to correct sentences. You have seventy five minutes to complete this section. Your are scored on how many of the questions you answer correctly, so be sure complete the entire test to the best of your ability.

If after taking the test, you are not satisfied with your score you can retake it, but you can only take it one time each month.
